Is 2018 the Year You Build Your Custom Dream Home in Central Florida? You may have been thinking about it for many years now – and even planning each and every minute detail in your head. The thought of building a new custom home in the Central Florida area may even have been a dream since childhood.

So will this be the year that you actually do it?

There are several key incentives that could make 2018 a good year to move forward with the building of your new home – especially if that home will be built in Orlando or the surrounding Central Florida area.

For instance, according to the 2018 National Housing Forecast from Realtor.com, Orlando and Central Florida are among the top large metropolitan areas that are anticipated to see a rise in home prices going forward. Because of that, you can expect your dream home to not only provide you with shelter and amenities, but also with some additional equity.

In addition, while Orlando is well known for being a top tourist attraction, there is a long list of other criteria that are driving people to the middle of the Sunshine State – in turn, helping to keep housing values up. As an example, this area is now well on its way to becoming one of the top innovation hubs in the United States. This is due in large part to the area’s new industries and advanced manufacturing.

There are also some major infrastructure enhancements on the horizon in Central Florida in 2018. Just some of these new projects include a nearly $2 billion expansion of I-4 (a much needed benefit to help with the flow of traffic through Orlando’s downtown area). There will also be a new terminal added to Orlando’s International Airport – a facility that currently sees more than 40 million passengers each year.
