One complete experience.

Rare Builders was founded in Orlando with a belief that a home should be considered as one complete experience—from the street to the interior to the spaces outside.

Since 2010, we have built across Orlando, including Winter Park and College Park, working with established neighborhoods, infill lots, lakefront properties, and mature landscapes. Each home is planned around indoor and outdoor life from the beginning.

Andy Katzman

Raised in Orlando and educated at the University of Florida’s Rinker School of Building Construction, Andy began his career with a Winter Park commercial general contractor before founding Rare Builders in 2010.

He leads construction and design, builds lasting client relationships, and approaches every Orlando home with the conviction that outdoor living is essential—not an amenity added later.

Co-Owner and CFO

Erin Katzman

A licensed CPA, Erin leads Rare Builders’ financial and administrative operations. Her experience includes auditing at Ernst & Young and serving as senior accountant at a Winter Park investment firm.

She holds accounting degrees from the University of Florida and University of North Florida, and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University—bringing disciplined financial management, transparent communication, and a professional client experience to every build.
