Case Study · Winter Park

Wilbar

At Wilbar, the stair is a central part of the architecture. A light-filled entry and wood-clad wall frame the sculptural stair, while a white kitchen and rear pool complete the home’s contemporary composition.

The Brief

The original Wilbar residence is a two-story Winter Park home. Its front elevation combines white walls, broad roof overhangs, dark window frames and wood-toned accents. At the entry, tall glazing brings daylight alongside the stair.

The Response

The finished photographs show the stair with slim horizontal metal railings, a kitchen organized around a long island, and a rear terrace beside the pool. The City of Winter Park issued the original home’s certificate of occupancy on May 7, 2018. This page documents that original build, separate from later remodeling.
