Lakeview
A checkerboard foyer introduces Lakeview’s renewed interiors. Warm wood cabinetry, a dark kitchen island and a tall veined fireplace bring contrasting materials into connected living spaces, while broad windows and glazed doors keep the garden close.
The Brief
Remodel an existing Winter Park residence, renewing its interiors, kitchen and bathrooms and improving the connection between the principal living spaces and the rear pool terrace.
The Response
The finished kitchen opens toward dining and living areas, with a dark island against pale floors and white walls. Full-height wood cabinetry encloses a pantry entrance, and matching wood surfaces meet the veined fireplace surround. A separate lounge includes dark built-in shelving. Upstairs, the bedroom opens toward a balcony, while the rear courtyard brings together a pool, raised spa and paved seating areas.
