Case Study · College Park, Orlando
6 E Rosevear
A tall stair window gives this College Park residence its clearest expression from the street. Pale stucco, dark window frames and wood-toned accents define the two-story facade. Inside, the stair and open upper landing are connected by horizontal metal railings, while a dark kitchen island adds contrast to the light-filled ground floor.
The Brief
Rare Builders built a new two-story single-family residence at 6 E Rosevear Street in College Park. Completed in 2018, the home brings together an open kitchen, living and dining area, an upper landing and a covered rear porch.
The Response
The entry places wood stair treads beside the tall front window, with the same horizontal railing continuing around the upper landing. Pale plank flooring runs through the living spaces. In the kitchen, white cabinetry and illuminated floating shelves surround a dark island beneath glass pendants and a cove-lit ceiling. Wide sliding doors connect the living area to a paver porch with a wood ceiling and fan. A freestanding tub and herringbone-tile wall introduce a finer-scale pattern in the bathroom.
